Guidestar
Platinum Seal of Transparency

We are proud to have been awarded the highest seal of transparency by Guidestar for another year – the Platinum Seal. GuideStar Seals of Transparency indicate that a nonprofit has provided key information to its GuideStar profile. This recognition shows commitment to transparency. By providing up-to-date information, nonprofits allow potential donors and funders to make educated decisions.
To obtain this Seal, GallantFew has complete transparency of basic information on the organization, brand and program details, financial, board, and leadership demographics, and most importantly, our strategic plan, progress, and results.
Who is Guidestar?

GuideStar is the world’s largest source of information on nonprofit organizations. Guidestar gathers and provides access to the most comprehensive, up-to-date, and accurate nonprofit information available
The GuideStar database is a repository of information on every nonprofit registered with the IRS as tax-exempt. GuideStar obtains the information from the nonprofits themselves, the federal government, and partners in the nonprofit sector.
GuideStar Charity Check is a tool for verifying nonprofits’ eligibility to receive tax-deductible contributions. The IRS has strict rules donors, private foundations, and sponsors of donor-advised funds must follow when making contributions, grants, or distributions to nonprofits. It also defines which sources of information these entities must use to determine eligibility.
In most cases, donations made to GallantFew are tax-deductible.
