Columbia University’s Center for Veteran Transition and Integration (CVTI) has a direct and lasting impact on the issue of veteran transition and upward mobility by creating and providing access to the best-in-class tools and programming veterans need as they transition from active service to college and the workforce.
The Honor Foundation is a Navy SEAL endorsed transition program that is specifically designed to serve the U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF). The Honor Foundation’s curriculum focuses on 28 key transitional readiness themes isolated through extensive research and feedback. The Honor Foundation exists to serve others with Honor, for life.
Three Rangers Foundation provides veterans with the best experts, advice, assistance in every aspect of their journey; whether it is spiritual, physical, mental, employment, finances, family, education. Three Rangers Foundation does everything possible to give veterans the knowledge and abilities to make them happy and fulfilled.
The Military Assistance Foundation is a nonprofit that provides a plethora of resources for the active duty service member and transitioning veteran. Services provided include advising and assisting veterans and active duty service members in their journey to gain admissions to top-tier universities, both undergraduate and graduate, job search assistance, and connecting nonprofits to further strengthen the veteran community.
Andrew Vernon & Associates provides professional writing services to active duty service members and veterans. All individual writing services take place online and are free of charge. Examples of services include help with resumes, cover letters, and answers to questions in job or school applications. Each service is designed to help the individual understand more about the writing process, empowering him or her to become increasingly confident and independent with writing.
American Dream U is a non-profit team dedicated to bridging the gap between military and civilian communities by providing professional enhancement tools to active duty military, veterans and their spouses. The mission of American Dream U is to help the military community get the education and access to resources they need to find their dream job, foster professional development, or to start a business of their own.
The Global Special Operations Forces (SOF) Foundation (GSF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that aims to build and grow an international network of military, government, commercial, and educational stakeholders in order to advance SOF capabilities and partnerships to confront global and networked threats.
Service to School (S2S) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides free college and grad school application counseling to military veterans and service members. Our goal is to help veterans gain admission to the best college for them while empowering each veteran to make informed decisions about their education.
Still Serving Veterans (SSV) is here to help Veterans get hired, access their benefits and get connected with the resources they need to build meaningful lives after military service. SSV serves Veterans, transitioning military service members, members of the National Guard & Reserves and military spouses.
Vetlanta is a club operated exclusively for veteran social and business networking and community service purposes.
Vetlanta’s mission is to make Atlanta the premier community in the country for veterans and their families to work and live. Vetlanta aims to make Atlanta better by making those that serve Atlanta’s military community better – their purpose is to help veterans.
The Indigo Education Company provides GallantFew veterans access to the Indigo Assessment, a multi-dimensional, comprehensive tool to help individuals gain insights through self-awareness of their behaviors, motivators and skills. The most comprehensive survey of its kind on the market, the Indigo Assessment uses over 100 data points to develop a personalized report.

Emotional Resources
Defenders of Freedom, a 501(c)3 provides donors with the organization they need to support post 9/11 Veterans in their transition to civilian life through emergency financial assistance, morale building programs, and traumatic brain injury treatment. Knowing many citizens want to help but simply don’t know how, Defenders of Freedom hopes to be the avenue that connects the community to the troops.
Stop Soldier Suicide has a proactive and disruptive approach to eliminating military suicide which focuses on meeting at-risk individuals where they are. The Stop Soldier Suicide team provides personalized care and continued case management to help identify each individual’s specific needs. Whether it’s mental health support, housing assistance, or any other service, the team works tirelessly to find the right and most effective tools.
Our programs provide a safe and confidential place for Military and Veteran Couples to reconnect, find peer support and positive encouragement. Participants learn specific real-life skills that enable them to better manage marriage under stress. These unique challenges can be caused by military service, multiple deployments, combat or wounds – be they physical, mental, emotional or moral. The skills learned can be used immediately to overcome damaging behaviors, reduce stress and develop stronger bonds and healthier relationships. Classes are free because we believe those defending our country want to build and manage healthy relationships.

Merging Vets & Players (MVP) is built on the MVP team’s years of experience coaching, mentoring, and leading men and women to their highest level of performance – in every sphere of life. MVP’s mission is to match up former combat vets and former professional athletes together — after the uniform comes off — to give them a new team to tackle the transition together. MVP shows them they are NOT alone.
Rucking is walking with a weighted rucksack (aka backpack). It implies action, energy, and purpose. Rucking requires strength, endurance, and character — and builds it, too. We build the best, toughest rucking gear to equip the rucking revolution — we force multiply through training, events, and GORUCK Clubs that empower real world communities in service to something greater than themselves.
Catalyst Sports is a chapter based, volunteer run, 501c3 non-profit organization that acts as an agent of change in the lives of people with disabilities and our communities. Adventure sports provide a fun and exciting platform for challenging ourselves mentally, physically and emotionally. When this challenge takes place alongside a supportive and encouraging community of people, we all discover our abilities, our need for each other and the importance of living active and healthy lives. Our mission is to give people with disabilities access to the life changing impact of adventure within a supportive and inclusive community.
GymNav is a mobile app that is built for the Warrior Culture to share a common bond through fitness and other active events. Our mission is to give the warrior culture a means to stay connected through fitness and other events. Users can host their own fitness event or see what events are going on around them. It could be anything from a workout in a garage gym, a ruck meetup on the local trail, climbing a 14er, or beers at a favorite spot.
F3 is a national network of free, peer-led workouts for men. Our mission is to plant, grow, and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership. Started in 2011 in Charlotte, North Carolina, F3 has grown to more than 26 states and 1,400 scheduled workouts a week through the volunteer efforts of men whose lives have been changed by their involvement with the group. The three Fs in our name stand for Fitness, Fellowship and Faith — the last of which we define as not one specific religion or faith system, but simply a belief in something outside oneself.

Project Refit believes combating isolation will reduce suicide rates among the military and first responder communities. Methods used by Project Refit to combat isolation include Blue Skies, a mobile app that builds community, Radio Checks, which are video gatherings for chatting and community, and Mobile Bases, which are dedicated spots for the military and first responder communities at almost all popular events around New Jersey, New York City, Philadelphia, Maryland, and Delaware regions.
The Metroport Rotary Club, located in the heart of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, is a group of business professionals and service-minded community members. Our mission is to help make our communities, our country, and our world more peaceful and prosperous. We can be found supporting local charities, physically and financially, to help them achieve their missions. While we often work behind the scenes, the work of our community partners does not. Whether it’s helping veterans transition back into civilian life or providing meals for area seniors, Metroport Rotarians are committed to “Service Above Self”.
