January 26, 2017, Roanoke, TX, — Given Grooming Lounge’s mission is to make men more handsome and instill confidence, the company has partnered with GallantFew to treat service members transitioning from military to civilian life to men’s grooming services that will do just that.
GallantFew works to prevent veteran isolation by connecting new veterans with hometown veteran mentors, thereby facilitating a peaceful, successful transition from military service to civilian life filled with hope and purpose.
Beginning this month and in the months ahead, transitioning veterans along with their mentor guides, as selected by GallantFew, will be treated to a selection of relaxing and rejuvenating men’s grooming services, including Hot Lather Shaves, Men’s Manicures, Men’s Pedicures, Men’s Facials and more, at Grooming Lounge’s Tysons Galleria Luxury Barbershop & Men’s Spa.
“We are excited to partner with a group that does so much good for the people that sacrifice so much for our freedom – as the company grows and expands, we hope to expand our involvement with GallantFew,” said Mike Gilman, Founder & CEO of Grooming Lounge.
GallantFew’s first visit to Grooming Lounge was Friday, January 17th. Two Marsoc Veterans, a guide and future guide, accepted the opportunity to be pampered by professionals.
Marsoc Veteran and Raider Project guide said, “They did an incredible job taking care of us. Eddie looked ten years younger when we left and they made me look like I didn’t get punched in the face for a living. Thanks again!!”
It’s amazing what a little bit of pampering can do for our self confidence.
Raider Project’s future guide said, “I didn’t realize this is the way you’re supposed to feel”.
Grooming Lounge will also sponsor GallantFew’s signature annual event Run Ranger Run 2017, offering complimentary products for participants and inviting in DC area participants into Grooming Lounge locations on Saturday, January 28 for 50% off their services.
Run Ranger Run teams pledge to walk, run and/or ride bicycles a combined total of 565 miles in the month of February. Teams may be formed from anywhere in the world. Participants raise funds for GallantFew and increase awareness for veteran issues surrounding the transition from active military service to civilian life.
Participants should call the Tysons store at 703.288.0355 or the DC store at 202.466.8900, to schedule an appointment.
“Our biggest challenge in helping veterans is getting them to know that GallantFew exists and is positioned to help in virtually every community in the country. Grooming Lounge is leading the way in helping us raise that awareness,” said GallantFew Director Karl Monger.
