We are thrilled to announce our first VetXpo speaker Drea Garcia.
What is VetXpo?
We set out on a mission to bring people together and equip them with the necessary tools to transition successfully. This seminar is for any service member that is separating within two years, a veteran that is still in a transitional period, caregivers, spouses and service providers. GallantFew serves veterans in any branch from any era. October 25th-27th, 2019 we will be hosting our annual two day conference to challenge veterans and other like-minded individuals to live their best life. We want veterans, families, and businesses and provide a way for them to learn from each other and grow with each other through community engagement.
We passionately believe in the power of our response-ability. VetXpo is a means for establishing personally relevant beliefs and courses of action that maintain critical balance and enable veterans to generate thoughtful solutions in alignment with their core values. We do this through the knowledge and inspiration of the veteran community’s most inspired thought leaders, passionate service providers and relevant trend setters. VetXpo is a place to engage with ideas and each other.
Drea Garcia is a Marine Corps Veteran that now works in the entertainment industry and volunteers in her spare time. She completed active duty in the USMC after two deployments and she returned home to San Francisco to finish her theater degree. Garcia moved to Los Angeles to continue studying, but this time behind the camera.
She gained membership in the Television Academy as a Performer shortly after received her MFA in Producing from the American Film Institute. She has landed roles in features as well as several major national commercials to include the JEEP Halftime SUPER BOWL commercial campaign with Oprah Winfrey and PEPSIs NFL Kickoff campaign.
Garcia can be found on GREY’S ANATOMY, CRIMINAL MINDS, ANGIE TRIBECA and most recently SHAMELESS. Garcia rescues senior special needs dogs and volunteers with orphaned animals in South Africa.
