Inspired by GallantFew’s nationwide impact, Behr Paint Company recently announced a $7,500 pledge for the veteran service organization’s transition and reintegration programs. Behr’s monetary and human resource support bolsters GallantFew’s 12-year mission to provide hope and purpose to veterans in the Dallas-Fort Worth community.
A people-first company, Behr encourages its team to share a sense of responsibility as a company and as individual citizens to support communities where Behr is located. With a commitment to civic consciousnesses, Behr selected GallantFew based on the nonprofit’s demonstrated success in improving veteran wellness and quality of life.
Founded by Trophy Club, TX resident veteran Karl Monger, GallantFew provides one-on-one transition assistance and veteran support to any service member or veteran seeking guidance along their transition from the military and reintegration into American society. The objective of this support is to achieve a life full of hope and purpose for national heroes.
“Much like Behr is committed to the communities in which they live and work, GallantFew is committed to helping veterans become productive, healthy members of their civilian community. We are grateful for Behr’s generous donation and honored to be considered among the nonprofits they have chosen to support,” says GallantFew’s Executive Director Karl Monger. Since 2010, GallantFew has provided more than 13,000 documented services to the military community. GallantFew motivates communities to take responsibility for returning veterans by welcoming, connecting, and including them in towns and cities across the nation.
GallantFew hosts weekly indoor rock climbing for veterans, an annual VetXpo seminar, and special honorary events on military holidays in the Dallas metro area.
