Richard Welsh

About Me

Richard is the founding partner of Alpha Trial Group, LLP, a litigation boutique with a national practice located in Los Angeles, California. He has served as lead trial and appellate counsel in litigation involving billions of dollars in dispute. He started his career at the international law firm of Kirkland & Ellis, where he made partner. He was then a partner at the international law firms of Greenberg Traurig, Akin Gump, and McDermott Will & Emery. As a result of his high-profile representations and successes, Rick has been recognized as a stand-out lawyer by several prominent publications.  

After serving in the Ranger Regiment in the early 1990s, he earned his degree from UCLA summa cum laude with the highest honors and his law degree from UC Berkeley with various honors.
