Our mission is to empower veterans and service members to live a life filled with hope and purpose. Group recreation develops this culture by building teamwork, trust, and encouragement with fellow veterans.
Anyone can join us – no previous experience is required! We invite you to join us, focus on the challenge of bettering your physical health, build your fitness and have FUN!

“Everything! This organization does so much for veterans and knows how to help them. I’ve been a participant for 4 years and this is one of the best things that’s ever happened to me. It’s made me discover my purpose and become a leader within the veteran community.”
Indoor Rock Climbing
Well, when is the last time you were trusted with something valuable (like someone’s life)? With climbing, you’re responsible for your buddies on the wall. When was the last time someone cheered for you (or you rallied for someone else)? Constantly challenging, climbing is full of growth and fun.
Try rock climbing with our crew. You might just find the fun community and team camaraderie you’ve been seeking.
Weekly Military Climbing Nights
GallantFew has two routine climbing locations:
- Grapevine, Texas
- Raleigh, North Carolina
Connect with us to join our climbing crew! Climbing with us is typically free or at a reduced cost for veterans and service members, which includes gear rental.
To stay up to date with our climbing program, join our GallantFew Climbing Group on Facebook.
We hope to see you on the walls or at the crag soon!
“In climbing you are always faced with new problems in which you must perform using intuitive movements, and then later analyze them to figure out why they work, and then learn from them.”
