This is an amazing story of a brave soldier working in conjunction with the 75th Ranger Regiment. Most Americans will go about their day Tuesday ignorant that we are still at war, let alone that Specialist Crockett displayed unbelievable courage and tenacity as he responded to a catastrophic Ranger casualty situation, clearing explosives, recovering wounded, remains and gear – and note one of the recovered is a “her”.
Most Americans will be ignorant – but you won’t. Thank God for soldiers such as Specialist Samuel Crockett, of the 20th Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives Command.
